Martina Decker originally comes from Germany, where she completed her architectural education, and now lives and works in Manhattan. Prior to moving to New York City, she practiced in Germany, Italy and Canada. The scope of her work is broad, from textiles and industrial design products, to architecture and urban design. Recently, Decker has been pursuing sustainability by developing innovative design applications for new materials and technologies. She has received awards from the American Institute of Architects Boston Society of Architects, Core 77, and I.D. (International Design) magazine. Her works have been published and exhibited in North America, South America, and Europe.
